More than a thousand Boeing employees were on hand for the performance, which took place next to the giant airliner.

The Band Perry’s Neil Perry posted a selfie on Instagram next to the plane, with the caption, “Had a blast playing the BRAND NEW Boeing 787-9 unveiling show!”

The Dreamliner is made of carbon fiber, so it’s 20 percent more fuel-efficient than planes made of aluminum. Passengers also enjoy fresh air drawn directly from outside over air drawn through the engines, and the windows are bigger in the Dreamliner than in traditional planes.
