A 24-year-old Manhattan woman was arrested Sunday after police said she used a mallet to damage a vehicle.
Jacqueline King was arrested just before 10 a.m. on an allegation of criminal damage to property.
Riley County Police said a 21-year-old man reported King used a mallet to break a window of a 2025 Kia and damage the exterior of the vehicle in the 1300 block of Marlatt Avenue.
The total estimated loss was $5,000.
King was issued a $2,000 bond and was no longer confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of the report.
