The Riley County Police Department says officers are investigating an active incident in the 1400 block of Flint Hills Place.
No further details have been provided but an RCPD spokesperson says multiple RCPD units and a unit from the Kansas Highway Patrol are on scene. Police have asked residents who live near that area to remain in their homes while the investigation continues. Authorities were called out sometime around 4 p.m.
