No injuries were reported after a fire broke out Wednesday evening in a garage at a home in the Northview area.

The Manhattan Fire Department was dispatched around 7:45 p.m. to 1949 Judson Street and arrived to a detached two-car garage heavily engulfed in flames.

The fire was contained within 15 minutes and crews cleared the scene by 9:30 p.m.

The total estimated loss is $50,000 to the contents and $30,000 to the structure. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
