A Scott City woman was arrested Wednesday afternoon at the Riley County Law Enforcement Center on a probation violation warrant, according to authorities.

Nesa Marie Simms, 31, was taken into custody at approximately 5:32 p.m. April 1st in the 1000 block of South Seth Child Road. The Riley County District Court warrant stems from original charges that include two counts of arson, aggravated arson and possession of methamphetamine.

Simms was issued no bond and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
