A Manhattan man was arrested Thursday morning in connection with a January investigation involving multiple financial crimes, according to the Riley County Police Department.

Jacob Theodore Disberger, 27, was taken into custody at approximately 10:41 a.m. April 2nd in the 2700 block of Buttonwood Drive. He was arrested on nine counts of identity theft, six counts of criminal use of a financial card without the owner’s consent involving amounts between $1,000 and $25,000, four counts of criminal use of a financial card without consent involving amounts less than $1,000, and one count of mistreatment of a dependent adult.

The arrest stems from a report originally filed in January 2026.

Disberger was issued a total bond of $20,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
