
A Manhattan man was arrested Thursday afternoon at the Riley County Law Enforcement Center on multiple offender registration and perjury charges, according to authorities.
Elijah James Smith, 29, of Manhattan, was taken into custody at approximately 2:30 p.m. April 30th in the 1000 block of South Seth Child Road. He was arrested on four counts of violating the offender registration act, two counts of perjury and one count of aggravated violation of the offender registration act.
Smith was issued a total bond of $40,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
