Bicyclist killed in crash on K-177 near Konza Prairie

According to reports from the Kansas Highway Patrol, the accident occurred just after 2 p.m. on the northbound lanes of K-177 near the Konza Prairie lookout point. The KHP says Mark Ten Eyck, 74, of Minnetrista, Minn., was traveling by bicycle in the right lane when he crossed in front of an SUV driven by Danielle Jones, 42, of Kansas City, Mo.

Ten Eyck died at the scene. Jones was not injured.
