
Riley County Police are investigating three vehicle thefts reported over the weekend in Manhattan, including two involving Kia vehicles.
The most recent theft was reported at about 9:38 p.m. Sunday in the 300 block of South Seth Child Road. Police said an unknown suspect stole a 2010 Chrysler 200 belonging to an 18-year-old woman. The vehicle, valued at about $6,000, was later recovered.
On Saturday evening, a 19-year-old woman reported her gray 2014 Kia Optima stolen from the 1300 block of Marlatt Avenue. The vehicle was valued at about $14,000.
Earlier Saturday, a 19-year-old man reported his 2015 Kia Soul stolen from the 1800 block of Todd Road. The vehicle was valued at about $7,000.
