A 27-year-old Manhattan man was arrested Tuesday night following an incident involving allegations of battery, criminal restraint and offenses against law enforcement officers.
Riley County Police said officers responded at about 8:21 p.m. to the 3000 block of Sandstone Drive. A 29-year-old woman and a 6-year-old child, both known to the suspect, were listed as victims, along with two men, ages 27 and 26.
Garrick Alford was arrested at about 8:30 p.m. on allegations of battery, criminal restraint, battery of a law enforcement officer, interference with a law enforcement officer and two counts of assault of a law enforcement officer.
Alford was issued a $10,000 bond and remained confined at the time of the report.
