A&H Farm in Manhattan is one of 20 farms across North America selected to participate in this year’s “Get Lost with Dolly” country music corn maze campaign, a tribute to Dolly Parton and her Imagination Library.
The farm’s maze will open Sept. 26 as part of its annual fall festival.
Campaign organizers selected A&H Farm for the project before Parton’s death. The campaign was originally planned to celebrate the country music performer and the 31st anniversary of Parton’s Imagination Library, which she founded in 1995. Following her death, organizers and participating farms are presenting the mazes as tributes to her legacy.
The 20 mazes are located across 15 states and two Canadian provinces. The MAiZE Inc. designed the mazes and participating farms will donate a portion of proceeds to the Imagination Library in their local communities.
Andrea DeJesus of A&H Farm said the farm initially viewed the project as an opportunity to celebrate Parton with Kansas families.
“We thought we were getting the opportunity to celebrate Dolly with families from across Kansas,” DeJesus said. “We never imagined that by the time our maze opened, it would also become a way to remember her.”
Brett Herbst, founder of The MAiZE Inc., said the organization’s work with the mazes took on additional significance following Parton’s death.
“Dolly’s impact on the world and her love for farming is immeasurable,” Herbst said. “Our corn maze tributes now take on new meaning and significance, as we honor her and her beloved Imagination Library.”
Before her death, Parton said she was grateful for the support of the Imagination Library and invited people to participate in the country music corn maze campaign.
The A&H Farm maze will include clues and an interactive game focused on Parton, as well as Dolly-themed photo opportunities, storytelling and music.
The farm’s other fall festival attractions include a petting zoo, slides, a tricycle track, hayrack rides, a pumpkin patch, an apple cannon and paintball.
DeJesus said the connection between Parton’s work, agriculture, families and literacy was particularly appropriate for A&H Farm.
“Dolly had an incredible way of connecting with people,” DeJesus said. “She never forgot where she came from, and she used her success to give back to children and families.”
The “Get Lost with Dolly” campaign is part of The MAiZE Inc.’s country music corn maze series. Previous featured artists included Reba McEntire in 2023, Luke Bryan in 2024 and Lainey Wilson in 2025. The company said it has created nearly 120 official country music corn mazes over the past four years.
Parton founded the Imagination Library through the Dollywood Foundation in 1995, inspired in part by her father’s inability to read and write. The program provides one free, age-appropriate book each month to enrolled children from birth through age 5.
According to the organization, the Imagination Library has distributed more than 300 million books in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia and the Republic of Ireland. More than 3 million books are mailed to children each month.
The A&H Farm maze opens Sept. 26 at A&H Farm. Fall festival dates, ticket information and additional details are available through the farm.
