According to statistics from the Flint Hills Association of Realtors, there were 117 October home sales in the Manhattan-Junction City combined statistical area, which includes Geary, Pottawatomie and Riley Counties.

That’s an 18% decrease from the 143 home sales in September and a 12% decrease from the 133 sales in October 223.

There were 113 sales of existing homes, a decrease of 8.9% from the 124 in October 2023. The average sale price of existing homes was $272,481, a 5.5% drop from the October 2023 price of $258,384. The average sale price of an existing home was $256,328 in September.
