Florence Manufacturing announces employee reduction

Florence Manufacturing has implemented a reduction in force, involving 80 permanent positions. Marketing Manager Donna Logback tells KMAN the company announced the lay-offs to employees Tuesday. Three people  have been arrested in Wabaunsee County following an investigation of recent burglaries, with several thousand dollars worth of items recovered. The arrests of 21 year old Dale Higginbotham, 27 year old Justin Goodspeed and a juvenile were made following the execution of two search warrants in Eskridge.
