Two apparent financial card readers or “skimmers” were found inside fuel pumps at two Wamego convenience stores Wednesday. Theft reported by Pottawatomie County Sheriff

The Pottawatomie county Sheriff’s Department is investigating the theft of a construction trailer this past week. Woman walks away from fiery crash Tuesday morning

A woman walked away Tuesday morning after a fiery crash into a pole in front of the McDonald’s in Westloop. There were no reported injuries and the driver, whose name was not released, told emergency personnel she experienced brake failure before the collision.
