(NEW YORK) — Before Florida Georgia Line rocked the stage Friday at Good Morning America’s Summer Concert Series, they made a special announcement fans have been waiting for.
“We got some new information on our brand new album, record two,” Brian Kelley teased, before saying, “Release date is October 14th, 2014.”
Tyler Hubbard then dished on the album’s title. “We had to call this one Anything Goes. That’s our motto for the album too,” he said to cheers from New York City’s Central Park.
The country duo said the album is very much inspired by where they are in their careers right now.
“It’s just where we are in life at this point, and where we’ve grown and who we’ve become,” Tyler added. “And to be honest we’ve learned a lot from our fans. We’ve learned a lot from playing every single night for the last three years. So we’re excited. We tried to step up our game and we’re ready for you guys to hear it.”
During the concert, FGL performed their brand new single “Dirt,” and also rocked out to “Cruise.” They later revealed the album cover via Instagram.
