Riley County Police Officers responded to the report of an injury accident near the intersection of 10th and Leavenworth Street in Manhattan Monday at approximately 4:20 PM.
When officers arrived on scene they found a Lexus RX300 driven by Lingyun Jiang, 26, of Manhattan had struck a Dodge Neon driven by Mark Caffrey, 53, of Westmoreland. Caffrey was transported to Via Christi for treatment of his injuries. Jiang was issued a citation for failure to yield right of way at a yield sign.
