At least one person is dead following a wrong-way crash Thursday night just before midnight west of the Wabaunsee-Riley County line on Interstate 70.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says “vehicle 1” was traveling eastbound in the westbound passing lane. After coming to the top of a hill, it struck “vehicle 2” head-on. No other details have been provided.
This is a developing story and more details will be shared once information is updated. KHP doesn’t identify fatality victims until first notifying next of kin.
