Image Courtesy Capitol NashvilleLittle Big Town will appear on the fourth hour of NBC’s Today on Tuesday morning. Since they’ll be performing their latest single, “Day Drinking,” LBT couldn’t think of better hosts to talk with about the song than the show’s Kathie Lee and Hoda.
The group’s Karen Fairchild says, “I mean, they always have a glass of wine in their hand.”
Band member Jimi Westbrook adds, “I never really thought about that until we found out we were going on there. I was like, ‘Brilliant! That is their song! Everyday!'”
In all seriousness, Little Big Town’s Kimberly Schlapman is a big fan of Kathie Lee and Hoda.
“We love them,” she says. “We have always loved them. I think their show is just so real and they are who they are.”
Look for Little Big Town to talk about “Day Drinking” as well as their upcoming album, Pain Killer, due out this fall.
