For many of us, March 14th might not seem like a day of significance, but for others, like math majors, they know that March 14th marks Pi Day.

In celebration of Pi Day this year, the Manhattan Area Habitat for Humanity is teaming up with five local bakers to offer a plethora of tasty Pi(es). Those bakers include Arrow Coffee Company, Bourbon and Baker, Little Batch Company, Piccalilli Farm, and TheraPie.

Throughout the weekend the businesses will be popping up all over town to celebrate. Along with that, the businesses are taking pie orders through their websites all week and will be donating a portion of the proceeds made during the celebration to MAHFH.

The Manttan Area Habitat for Humanity works to build affordable housing, revitalize neighborhoods, and strengthen communities in Riley County and Pottawatomie County. To learn more about the chapter, visit mahfh.org.
