His friends Josh Turner, Charles Esten, and Charlie Worsham will play the Saturday, May 4 show, with Hall of Fame songwriter Don Schlitz also taking the stage. Schlitz wrote many of Randy’s biggest hits, including “Forever and Ever, Amen,” “On the Other Hand,” and “Deeper Than the Holler.”
The legendary singer’s ability to speak, walk, and sing continues to improve following his near-fatal stroke in 2013.
Randy’s autobiography, Forever and Ever, Amen: A Memoir of Music, Faith and Braving the Storms of Life, will follow on May 14.
