With new quarantine and isolation guidelines announced by the CDC, the health department continues to follow the 10 day period as KDHE has not yet changed its guidance.  Health Department Director Julie Gibbs says if the quarantine and isolation periods change based on KDHE guidance, they will share that information on social media and the county website.
The health department is also reporting an increase in demand for COVID testing, noting it’s been receiving several hundred calls per week for testing.
KDHE testing is still taking place at the Manhattan Town Center in the parking lot across from Dillards, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday.
