
The Riley County Police Department is investigating a reported aggravated assault that occurred Tuesday morning in Manhattan.
According to police, officers responded just after 11 a.m. to the 100 block of Bluemont Avenue after receiving a report of a disturbance in a parking lot.
A 25-year-old man told officers a known 44-year-old man brandished a firearm during an argument.
No arrests were announced Tuesday, and the investigation remains ongoing.
