Shiela Huffman, 34, of Manhattan was arrested while in the 2600 block of 60th Ave. on Tuesday August 2 at approximately 2:00 PM. Huffman was arrested on a warrant with the offense of theft which was listed multiple times. This warrant had a bond of $5,000 and at the time of this report she was not confined at the Riley County Jail.
Officers with the Riley County Police Department arrested 48 year old Tamie Staatz on the offenses of aggravated assault and criminal damage to property on August 2, 2016 at approximately 4:25 PM. This arrest occurred in the 2400 block of Heartland after an incident involving an object similar to an ax and damage to the back window of a truck which is owned by a 32-year-old male victim. Due to the domestic nature of this incident no further victim information has been released. Staatz was given a bond of $6,000 and at the time of this report was confined at the Riley County Jail. The total estimated damage was unknown at the time of this report.
