Riley County Police are investigating the theft of two handguns in Manhattan over the weekend.

According to the RCPD daily report Monday, officers filed a theft report in the 1100 block of Moro Street Saturday afternoon when a 21-year-old Manhattan man reported an unknown suspect took his Sig Sauer P365 and holster. The estimated total loss is approximately $730. Later in the day, a police report was filed in the 1700 block of Cassell Road where a 31-year-old Manhattan man told police an unknown suspect took his Black Glock 19 nine milimeter Gen 4 and holster. The estimated total loss was about $550.

Police ask anyone with information to contact RCPD or Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service allows you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
