RCPDReportLucas Paar, 22, of Manhattan was arrested for failing to appear in Riley County District court. Paar was arrested while in the 2000 block of Fort Riley Lane on June 4th, 2016 at approximately 2:55 PM. The original offense is listed as violation of a protection order. Total bond was listed as $8,000.00 and Paar remained confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

Police arrested Anthony Fuerhoff, 34, of Osmond, Nebraska on June 4th, 2016 at approximately 10:45 PM while at the Riley County Police Department. Fuerhoff was arrested on a Riley County District court warrant for probation violation. Bond was listed as $25,000.00 and currently he remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

Police responded to a report of an incident that was domestic related in the 2500 block of Farm Bureau Road in Manhattan on June 5th, 2016 at approximately 9:45 PM. Thomas Scanlan, 61, of Manhattan was arrested for aggravated assault and domestic battery. Bond was listed as $12,000.00 and Scanlan was no longer confined at the time of this report.

Police responded to a report of criminal damage to property and criminal trespass in the 2100 block of Poyntz Avenue, in Manhattan on June 4th, 2016 at approximately 3:41 AM. Upon arrival officers discovered that a vehicle had driven onto a practice field at Manhattan High School and subsequently caused damage. The damage to the field was estimated at approximately $500.00. James Sexton, 23, of Manhattan and Sarah Peloquin, 23 of Manhattan were both issued citations related to this incident.

A press release will be issued later today regarding a drug investigation which led to two arrests with a total bond of $70,000.00. These arrests stem from an ongoing investigation into the illegal distribution of narcotics in the Manhattan and Riley County areas.
