MANHATTAN, KAN. –

Officers filed a report for theft in the 2200 block of McDowell Ave in Manhattan on October 7, 2020, at approximately 12:06 pm. Officers listed a 55-year-old male as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect took his 16′ flatbed trailer. Officers filed a report for aggravated kidnapping, aggravated domestic battery, domestic battery, violation of protection order, interference with LEO, criminal trespass, aggravated intimidation of a witness/victim, and failure to appear on October 7, 2020, at approximately 1:53 pm in Manhattan. Officers listed a 26-year-old-female victim and a 25-year-old male suspect when it was reported he kidnapped her and injured her. Aaron Lewis, 25 of Manhattan was arrested in connection on the offenses of aggravated kidnapping, aggravated domestic battery, domestic battery, violation of protection order, interference with LEO, criminal trespass, aggravated intimidation of a witness/victim, and seven counts of failure to appear. Lewis was issued a total bond of $63,750.00 causing him to remain confined at the time of this report.

Officers filed a report for sexual battery in Manhattan on October 7, 2020, at approximately 5:21 pm. Officers listed a 25-year-old female as the victim and an unknown male as the suspect. Due to the nature of the crime, no additional information will be released.

Officers filed a report for theft in the 3900 block of Swift Ct in Manhattan on October 7, 2020, at approximately 6:03 pm. Officers listed a 67-year-old male as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect took three 5-gallon buckets of Behr paint. Officers filed a report for aggravated domestic battery in Manhattan on October 7, 2002, at approximately 9:18 pm. Officers listed a 37-year-old female as the victim and a 37-year-old male as the suspect when it was reported he injured her.

Officers filed a report for burglary and criminal damage to property in the 1100 block of N 5th St in Manhattan on October 7, 2020, at approximately 10:53 pm. Officers listed a 29-year-old female as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect damaged a window and took an Apple MacBook, a Nintendo Switch Dock, an iPad, and a Nintendo video game.
