MANHATTAN, KAN. – 

Officers filed a report for theft by deception in the 2700 block of Butterfield Rd. in Manhattan on November 30, 2020, at approximately 11:07 a.m. Officers listed a 40-year-old female and a 67-year-old male, and Navy Federal Credit Union as the victims when it was reported an unknown suspect deceived them to give money online. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $3,900.00. Anyone with information can contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Officers filed a report for rape in Manhattan on November 30, 2020, at approximately 11:42 a.m. Officers listed an 11-year-old female as the victim and a 35-year-old male known to her as the suspect. Due to the nature of this crime, no further information will be released.

Officers filed a report for criminal use of a financial card, theft, and burglary in the 400 block of E. Poytnz Ave. in Manhattan on November 30, 2020, at approximately 1:46 p.m. Officers listed a 37-year-old female and USAA as the victims when it was reported an unknown suspect broke into a vehicle, stole a wallet, and used a financial card to make purchases.
