MANHATTAN, KAN. – 

Officers filed a report for criminal damage to property and theft in the 150 block of E. Poyntz Ave. in Manhattan on December 18, 2020, at approximately 10:07 a.m. Officers listed Quality Inn as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect kicked in a hotel room door and did not pay for hotel expenses. Officers filed a report for sexual battery and criminal restraint in Manhattan on December 19, 2020, at approximately 11:31 a.m. Officers listed a 40-year-old female as the victim and a 60-year-old male known to her as the suspect. Due to the nature of this crime, no further information will be released.

Officers filed a report for theft in the 500 block of McCall Rd. in Manhattan on December 19, 2020, at approximately 5:03 p.m. Officers listed Menards as the victim when it was reported unknown male and female suspects stole three Swann wifi cameras, a AC2200 wifi range finder, and other miscellaneous items. Officers responded to the report of an injury crash in the 5900 block of Tuttle Creek Blvd. in Manhattan on December 19, 2020, at approximately 6:07 p.m. When officers arrived on scene they found a 2005 Dodge Neon driven by Tina Adams, 73, of Manhattan had swerved to avoid an animal and hit a 2013 Dodge Durango driven by David Robinson, 50, of Milford. Adams was transported to Via Christi for treatment of her injuries.

Officers filed a report for theft in the 800 block of Commons Pl. in Manhattan on December 19, 2020, at approximately 8:36 p.m. Officers listed Target as the victim when it was reported unknown male and female suspects stole kitchen appliances and other miscellaneous items. Officers filed a report for aggravated domestic battery, domestic battery, and criminal damage to property in Manhattan on December 20, 2020, at approximately 1:51 a.m. Officers listed a 19-year-old female and a 29-year-old male as the victims when it was reported 19-year-old female and 29-year-old male suspects injured them and damaged items. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $40.00.
