Officers with the Riley County Police Department arrested Jonathan A. Turner, 25, of Portsmouth VA on a Riley County District Court Warrant for one count of Rape and six counts of Aggravated Criminal Sodomy with a child. Turner’s bond was set at $250,000 by the district court. Turner is currently confined at the Riley County Detention Center. Additional questions are to be directed towards the Riley County Attorney’s office.
Officers with the Riley County Police Department arrested Tony R. Dugan, 36, of Leonardville, KS on a United States Federal warrant for the Manufacture of Methamphetamine. Dugan was released to agents from the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency. Questions regarding this arrest are directed to the US Attorney’s office.
Officers with the Riley County Police Department responded to Bluemont Hill in Manhattan to meet with a city employee. It was discovered an unknown person(s) painted all the letters on Bluemont Hill. Loss is estimated at $1,200. No arrests have been made and the case is currently under investigation.
