Officers filed a report for theft in the 100 block of E Bluemont in Manhattan on February 6, 2019, at approximately 10:20 AM.  Officers listed Kelly Ware, 40 of Manhattan as the victim when it was reported a known male suspect took her 2001 Oldsmobile Aurora. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $1,500.00.

Officers filed a report for theft in the 900 block of Kearney in Manhattan on February 6, 2019, at approximately 11:40 AM.  Officers listed Jacquelyn Casteel, 41 of Manhattan as the victim when it was reported that a known male suspect took her clothing, shoes, electronics, jewelry, and other household items. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $1,630.00.

Officers filed a report for sexual battery in Manhattan on February 6, 2019, at approximately 4:20 PM. Officers listed a 16-year-old female as the victim and a 22-year-old male known to her as the suspect. Due to the nature of the crime reported, no further information will be released.

Officers filed a report for robbery in the 100 block of Manhattan Town Center in Manhattan on February 6, 2019, at approximately 7:10 PM. Officers listed Ulta Beauty and Kendall Dollevoet, 24, of Ogden as the victims when it was reported two unknown suspects took merchandise from the business. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $2,000.00. Police ask that anyone with information contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.00.

Michael Nash, 40, of Topeka was arrested while at the Riley County Police Department on February 6, 2019, at approximately 2:00 PM. Nash was arrested on the offense of violate offender registration. Nash was issued a total bond of $5,000.00. Nash was still not confined at the time of this report.

Julie Turner, 36, of Manhattan was arrested while at the Riley County Police Department on February 6, 2019, at approximately 11:00 AM. Turner was arrested on three offenses of violate offender registration. Turner was issued a total bond of $7,500.00. Turner was still confined at the time of this report.
