Officers filed a report for burglary and criminal damage to property in the 2500 block of Bellerive Dr. in Manhattan on February 7, 2018 at approximately 2:10 PM. Officers listed Joshua Brite, 25, of Manhattan and Vivien Brite, 24, of Manhattan as the victims when it was reported an unknown suspect entered their apartment, causing damage and taking miscellaneous electronics. The total loss associated with this case is approximately $1,344.00. Police ask that anyone with information contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Stephon Hussey, 33, of Huntsville, Alabama, was arrested while in the 1000 block of El Paso Ln. in Manhattan on February 7, 2018 at approximately 5:50 PM. Hussey was arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. Hussey was issued a total bond of $7,000.00 causing him to remain confined at the time of this report.
Virgil Koppenheffer Jr., 37, of Moulton, Alabama, was arrested while in the 1000 block of El Paso Ln. in Manhattan on February 7, 2018 at approximately 5:40 PM. Koppenheffer Jr. was arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Koppenheffer Jr. was issued a total bond of $6,000.00 causing him to remain confined at the time of this report.
Benjamin Braden, 43, of Topeka, Kansas, was arrested while at the Riley County Police Department on February 7, 2018 at approximately 6:30 PM. Braden was arrested on a Riley County District Court warrant for probation violation. Braden was issued a total bond of $50,000.00 causing him to remain confined at the time of this report.
Jason Dean, 46, of Manhattan, was arrested while at the Riley County Police Department on February 7, 2018 at approximately 8:00 PM. Dean was arrested on a Kansas Department of Corrections Warrant for probation violation. Dean was issued no bond, causing him to remain confined at the time of this report.
