MANHATTAN, KAN. –

Officers filed a report for burglary in the 2200 block of College Ave in Manhattan on July 10, 2020, at approximately 10:57 AM. Officers listed a 28-year-old male as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect entered his home and took a rucksack, Gortex wet weather gear, BDUs, and an entrenching tool. Officers filed a report for theft of a motor vehicle in the 1100 block of Westloop Pl in Manhattan on July 10, 2020, at approximately 5:41 PM. Officers listed a 61-year-old male as the victim when it was reported an unknown male took his 2008 White Dodge Ram 2500.  The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $10,000.00. Anyone with information can contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Officers filed a report for theft in the 100 block of E Bluemont Ave in Manhattan on July 11, 2020, at approximately 12:07 PM. Officers listed Wal-Mart as the victim when it was reported a 22-year-old female and a 26-year-old male took miscellaneous merchandise from the business. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $4,452.15.

Officers filed a report for theft in the 1300 block of Flint Hills Pl in Manhattan on July 11, 2020, at approximately 4:52 PM. Officers listed a 34-year-old female as the victim when it was reported an unknown male suspect took her two Mongoose bicycles. Officers filed a report for escape from custody in the 1000 block of S Seth Child Rd in Manhattan on July 11, 2020, at approximately 5:02 PM. Officers listed a 42-year-old male as the suspect when he did not return to the Riley County Jail after a scheduled release. The male later returned himself to the Riley County Jail.

Officers filed a report for aggravated assault, battery on Law Enforcement Officer, and domestic battery in Manhattan on July 12, 2020, at approximately 1:15 AM. Officers listed a 28-year-old female, a 22-year-old male, a 35-year-old male, and a 39-year-old male as the victims when it was reported a  28-year-old female threatened them with a pair of scissors and later pushed them. Tanasha Dupree, 28 of Manhattan was arrested in connection on the charges of aggravated assault and battery on Law Enforcement Officer. Dupree was issued a total bond of $11,000.00 and was no longer confined at the time of this report.

Officers filed a report for theft in the 600 block of Kearney St in Manhattan on July 12, 2020, at approximately 2:44 PM. Officers listed a 45-year-old female and a 61-year-old female as the victims when it was reported an unknown suspect took their Cannondale bicycle,  Specialized bicycle, and bike lock. Officers filed a report for criminal damage to property in the 400 block of Laramie in Manhattan on July 12, 2020, at approximately 7:45 PM. Officers listed a 25-year-old male as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect damaged his 1987 Porsche.
