Officers filed a report for theft in the 100 block of Bluemont Ave in Manhattan on July 20, 2018 at approximately 1:30 AM. Officers listed Joshua Jacobs, 32, of Manhattan as the victim when he reported an unknown suspect took his Samsung Galaxy 8 Note phone. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $900.00. Police ask that anyone with information contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Dayton Hunter-Clay, 20, of Topeka was arrested while at the Riley County Police Department on July 19, 2018 at approximately 3:50 PM. Hunter-Clay was arrested on a Riley County District Court warrant for failure to appear. Hunter-Clay was issued a total bond of $10,000.00 causing him to remain confined at the time of this report.
