Riley County Commissioners looked over the signed contract drafts by Pottawatomie County for ambulance services during their meeting on Thursday.
County Counselor Clancy Holeman led the presentation on the final draft of the agreement that was signed by the Pottawatomie County commission.  He said the conditions requested by the Riley County commissioners included an acceptable contract to the commissioners by June 1, payments for the outstanding invoices from November, and this arrangement to continue at most for only 2 years after the date of execution.
Holeman said this current contract satisfies the concerns made by the Riley County Commissioners.
The commissioners approved Chairman Marvin Rodriguez to sign the documents once they arrive.  Holeman said when they are signed, Pottawatomie County will go ahead and pay the outstanding invoices.
Holeman did not give an exact date as to when they will arrive, but assured they were on the way.
