Riley County is reporting 17 positive COVID cases and 29 recoveries since last week, for a total of 28 active cases.
The percent of positive cases for the week of April 11 was 1 %. It’s the 12th consecutive week in Riley County has been below 5%. A total of 14,712 Riley County residents are fully vaccinated and 6,179 have received at least their first dose.

Ascension Via Christi Hospital is caring for one COVID-positive patient. There are no COVID-positive patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at this time.

First doses are being administered at the Riley County Health Department Family and Child Resource Center. Second doses will be administered on Thursday and Friday at Pottorf Hall.

The health department says it is left with extra doses at the end of each days, and noted anyone wanting to be placed on a standby list to receive vaccine can email the health department at covid19vaccine@rileycountyks.gov.
