The scene of a fatal shooting last week has now been listed for sale on the housing market. 21-year old Tyler Nelson died of a gunshot wound to the chest after unlawfully entering the home of 62-year old Richard Lee Smith shortly after midnight last Friday. KMAN received a tip through social media indicating the home where the shooting occurred is now listed for sale on realtor.com. Website records indicate it was listed on either Tuesday or Wednesday. The duplex located at 1004 North Eighth street is now on the market for roughly $140,000 dollars.
Smith has not been charged in the death of Nelson, but was taken into custody for criminal possession of a firearm and possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. KMAN filed a probable cause affidavit earlier in the week.
