Sunset Zoo will be open for the weekend of the Fourth plus the end of the three-day holiday weekend on the fifth, for those looking for something to do.

Sloth bears that will be part of Expedition Asia were are undergoing familiarization with trainers after being brought to the zoo from Idaho Falls.
The new display area is set to be unveiled early this fall. Daily hours at Sunset Zoo are 9:30 to 5:00 each day.
