Manhattan Parks and Recreation is offering residents 50 years of age and up plenty of fun activities through its Lifelong Recreation program.
Molli Maberry, a Manhattan Parks and Rec Recreation Coordinator, shares some of what the program offers.
A few Lifelong Rec activities happening this year are a trip to the Kansas City Ballet, a trip to the Sea Life Kansas City Aquarium and an afternoon at Uncorked Inspiration here in Manhattan.
Maberry says they also recently partnered up with the Area Agency for Aging to begin offering a new fitness class.
These activities are open to the spouses and adult children of members as well.
Those interested in participating can register through the Manhattan Parks and Rec activity guide or through mhkprd.com.
It’s also at this website that full list of activities and associated prices can be found.
