
Two Ellsworth men were arrested early Sunday morning following a reported aggravated assault in Manhattan, according to the Riley County Police Department.
Officers filed a report for criminal threat and aggravated assault at approximately 12:20 a.m. May 17th in the 1100 block of Bluemont Avenue. A 17-year-old male and a 17-year-old female were listed as the victims after it was reported that two suspects pointed a gun at them.
Cristoval Ramiro Gutierrez, 20, of Ellsworth, was arrested at approximately 12:53 a.m. on charges of criminal threat and aggravated assault. Gutierrez was issued a total bond of $5,000 and is no longer confined in the Riley County Jail.
Austin Chey Strode, 22, of Ellsworth, was also arrested at approximately 12:50 a.m. on charges of criminal threat and aggravated assault. Strode was issued a total bond of $5,000 and is no longer confined in the Riley County Jail.
