A Manhattan man was arrested Tuesday afternoon following a reported aggravated assault involving a knife, according to the Riley County Police Department.
Officers filed a report at approximately 2:02 p.m. April 14th in the 1500 block of Pillsbury Drive. A 55-year-old man and a 45-year-old man were listed as victims after it was reported a known 31-year-old man attacked them with a knife.
Jose Maria Lara, 31, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 3:19 p.m. on a charge of aggravated assault.
Lara was issued a total bond of $8,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
