Kansas Department of Transportation officials announced Friday afternoon the opening of roundabouts on U.S. Highway 24 (Tuttle Creek Boulevard) north of Manhattan at the intersections of Kansas highways 113 and 13 as the project enters its winter shutdown period.
The speed limit will still be reduced to 25 mph around US-24 and K-13 as crews continue to work on the roadway’s shoulders and South Dam Road.
Work on the roundabouts is scheduled to resume early next year and wrap up completely by the summer. Traffic information will be provided in advance.
