
Police are investigating a reported theft case involving a vehicle loan in Manhattan, according to the Riley County Police Department.
Officers filed a report at approximately 11:38 a.m. April 22nd, 2026, in the 2600 block of Anderson Avenue. K-State Federal Credit Union was listed as the victim after it was reported a known 34-year-old man was given a loan for a 2017 Ford truck and then sold the vehicle without paying off the loan.
The total estimated loss associated with the case is $25,000.
No arrests had been reported as of the time of the report.
