

The Kansas Board of Regents announced its pick for interim president of Kansas State University, Thursday.
Gen. Richard B. Myers will take the position.
Myers has served as the principal military advisor to the President, Secretary of Defense, and the National Security Council.
More information on the retired U.S. Air Force General’s appointment, will be released next week during a press conference.
Myers will fill the void left by outgoing president Kirk Schulz, who as previously reported, took the same position at his alma mater – Washington State University.
