
A Junction City man was arrested Wednesday on allegations of child sex crimes.
According to Junction City police, officers arrested 33-year-old Jose Vega Jr. around 10:45 a.m. in the 200 block of West Spruce Street.
Vega was booked on suspicion of rape involving a victim younger than 14 and aggravated indecent liberties with a child, alleging an adult fondled a child younger than 14. Geary County jail records show he is being held without bond in the Geary County Detention Center at the time of this report.
