Rape arrest by RCPD Saturday

A 26-year-old Manhattan man faces several charges including rape following an arrest Saturday afternoon. Sangla Maurice Stevens was taken into custody shortly before two p.m. on charges of rape, aggravated battery, criminal threat, domestic battery, criminal restraint, and probation violation. Road closure and accident on 177

Northbound/southbound K-177 at Scenic Overlook/Tutsbury Road in Riley County was closed at 5 p.m. Friday due to a bike/vehicle  crash. Motorists are asked to detour via US-24, K-99 & I-70 until further notice.
