The Greater Manhattan Community Foundation’s 14th annual Grow Green Match Day on Wednesday resulted in over $2.9 million going to 102 recipients.

According to the organization’s initial counts, this year’s donations amount to $2,414,237.85, with match funds coming in at $530,000. The 2026 donations reflect an 18.2% increase from last year’s sum. 97 fewer donors participated than 2025, with 1,818 participants contributing to the cause this year.

GMCF president and CEO Vern Henricks said the organization is grateful for the show of community support.

“We continue to be amazed and grateful for the support from individuals and businesses,” Henricks said. “The continued growth year after year is amazing, and a true testament to what makes the Manhattan community a great place to live, work, and play. The Greater Manhattan Community Foundation would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all who participated in the 2026 Grow Green Match Day efforts.”
