A Junction City man was arrested Saturday afternoon after police said he allegedly fired a gun within city limits and assaulted multiple people during a domestic disturbance.

According to the Junction City Police Department, officers responded just after 12 p.m. Friday, July 18, to the 1100 block of North Eisenhower Drive.

Police arrested Gregory Tirece Reed, 55, of Junction City, on suspicion of unlawful discharge of a firearm within city limits, three counts of aggravated assault, aggravated battery, criminal damage to property, unlawful restraint and felony domestic battery.

Jail records show Reed was booked into the Geary County Detention Center just before 5 p.m. Saturday, July 18. As of the latest jail report, no bond had been set.
