K-State Police is advising students and faculty on campus about recent robo phone calls.
According to a press release, on Sunday, November 11, K-State phone numbers started receiving robocalls with derogatory racially or ethnically based messages. Many of the calls were left on voicemail. K-State Police and Telecom have been made aware of the calls and have determined they originate from a number that cannot be traced.

While Telecom is working to block the reported number, KSU PD are advising those receiving a call to hang up immediately and report it to K-State Police at police@k-state.edu or by calling 785-532-6412.
