A Larned man faces probation violation charges following his arrest Sunday evening by Riley County Police.  Emilio Sheets, 29, was arrested while at the Riley County Police Department at approximately 5:35 PM.
Sheets was arrested on 2 warrants for probation violation with original offenses of obstructing the legal process and domestic battery. He was given a total bond of $10,000.

At approximately 5:40 PM Saturday, Riley County police arrested  Thomas Scripter, 28, of Manhattan for the offenses of DUI, chemical refusal, battery of a law enforcement officer, flee and elude, and interference with law enforcement. This arrest came after Scripter fled an attempted traffic stop and once stopped resisted arrest for DUI.
Throughout the course of making this arrest an officer was struck in the chest by Scripter’s head. Scripter was give a bond of $5,500.

More information was released Monday regarding the arrest of  Heather Spiller, 35, of Manhattan. As KMAN earlier reported, Spiller was arrested Friday night at about 9:30 PM for the offense of criminal use of an explosive, which was listed on a warrant originating in Riley County.

Police found that Spiller was in possession of a military explosive fuse assembly in August of this year. She was given a bond of $5,000. The arrest occurred in the 500 block of Vattier Street in Manhattan.

Police in Riley County arrested a Manhattan man on a Virginia warrant the end of last week. Monday’s RCPD Activity Report indicates  Terrence Wallace, 26, was taken into custody on the warrant originating in Albermarle County, Virginia regarding a theft investigation.
Wallace was arrested while at the Riley County Police Department Friday at approximately 8:50 AM. He was confined at the time of this report on “no bond.”
