Local brewing companies are able to fully realize their vision for a new CiCo Park event after the Riley County Commission on Thursday approved alcohol sales for the festivities.
Manhattan Brewing Company and Aggieville Brewing Company are planning to hold Little Apple Mayfest from 4 to 10 p.m. May 16.
The companies have described the event as a family-friendly outdoor festival. Mayfest will include craft vendors, food vendors, a kids zone, a cornhole tournament and, of course, beer.
